MISSION STATEMENT (Our Theme):

Indiginization of National, Resources of Pakistan.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

a) Scientific and technical development in petroleum industry of Pakistan in order to achieve the goal of self-reliance in the Exploitation & Management of Natural Resources.

b) Human Resources Development in different disciplines of petroleum industry.

c) To disseminate Technical knowledge among the members of club, through seminars, workshops and courses.

d) To provide opportunities to all the professionals working in the petroleum industry to enhance their technical capabilities.

e) Promotion of research and development activities in the national institutions.

f) To introduce the state of Art Technology in the petroleum industry of Pakistan.

g) To establish Collaboration with Pakistani experts working in different areas of the world to help in the Indiginization of Pakistani National Resources.

h) To establish a contact and seek CO-operation from other professional organizations of petroleum industry for achieving the “ Mission Statement”.

i) To establish funds for the promotion of R & D activities in the Country.

MEMBERSHIP:

The individuals belonging to any discipline of petroleum industry may apply For membership of Petroleum Club Of Pakistan.

Membership applications on prescribed forms shall be forwarded to the “Membership Chairperson” through coordinator of respective local center.

The “Board” may approve the membership in consultation with the “Executive Committee”.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

General

The Central Organization shall consist of Board Of Governor or just Board and Executive Committee (President, Secretary General, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chairperson).

Local Centers may be established in different cities on approval of the “Board”.

The organizer of Local Center shall be called Coordinator.

The Board shall nominate the Coordinator.

The Board shall select the Executive Committee.

BOARD OF GOVERNOR:

The Board shall consist of Chairman Board with minimum 5 members.

Note. Founder members are the permanent members of the Board.

The President shall head the meetings of Executive Committee, In case of his absence; General Secretary may conduct the meeting/meetings.

Chairman of Board shall preside over the meetings of the Board.

Tenure

The Executive Committee shall be selected for one year.

Local Coordinators shall also be nominated for one year.

An office bearer, if not otherwise stated by the board, shall however continue to function till his successor takes over.

Organizational year

The Organizational year of Petroleum Club of Pakistan shall be exactly, The Calendar year i.e. from 1st January to 31st December.

Oath Taking:

All office bearers shall take oath as per prescribed proforma of Petroleum Club of Pakistan before assuming there respective Offices.

FINANCE

The Board shall decide membership fee for respective Year.

The club may collect donations and voluntary funds at different levels so as to meet its expenses.

The central bank account of the club shall be opened in the name of Petroleum Club of Pakistan, A/C can be operated by any two out of three i.e. President, Secretary General and Treasurer.

An up-to-date record of income and expenditures shall be maintained by the Treasurer and shall be submitted by him in Every regular meeting of the “Board” for scrutiny and approval.

AMENDMENTS

Any amendments in the CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS Shall only be made by the enduring members of the Board.
